The rebrand work we produced for the FlyDSA Arena has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Development of a New Brand Within an Existing Brand Portfolio’ category.
With the hype and prestige surrounding the event, we can’t wait to go head-to-head with Europe’s leading brands including AMD Radeon and Nuffield Health.
In September 2017, Doncaster Sheffield Airport bought the naming rights to the Sheffield Arena as part of a “six-figure” sum, and we were commissioned to create the FlyDSA brand to give the venue a new, fresh identity.
Kate Stow, head of marketing, Doncaster Sheffield Airport, stated: “We are absolutely ecstatic that the FlyDSA Arena has been shortlisted at the Transform Awards Europe. The creation of the new brand has been an overwhelming success, not just for the arena, but for the whole of the Sheffield City Region. We are excited to see what the future holds.”
“This project was exciting from the very start. The main challenge was creating a new identity for the arena which is clearly related to Doncaster Sheffield Airport’s brand, without being too confusing. From a design perspective, we were careful to use elements from Doncaster Sheffield Airport’s existing brand.” explained our head designer, Daniel Jones.
This is the third consecutive year that we have been shortlisted at the Transform Awards. Previous success was achieved at the last ceremony where we won the internationally recognised ‘Grand Prix’ award in March 2017.
The Transform Awards Europe 2018 will be held on 26th March at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel, Mayfair London. Previous winners of the awards include Adidas, Unilever, Argos, and Lloyds Banking Group.
